Doug’s first “real” job was as a trainer in the audio-visual department of his college library. Over 35 years later, he is still passionately teaching people how to effectively communicate with those delightfully challenging tools that we call “technology.” Every year, Doug leads over 100 conference sessions and professional development seminars for school-teachers all over Tennessee and Kentucky.
Doug is an “MK” (Missionary Kid). He grew up in East Africa where his parents were missionaries for thirty years. Doug holds a BS in Accounting & Business Administration from Charleston Southern University. He has been married to his wife Libby for 34 years and they have two adult children and two grandchildren. Their daughter, Rebecca, teaches math at Independence High School in Williamson County and is engaged to be married in June, 2017. Their son, Jonathan is married to Leah Frances and teaches statistics at Mississippi State University.
